Vision Beyond: 
Local Projects on Ophthalmic Innovations
With generous support from the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Information and Technology Fund, APAO 2026 is launching a series of new activities to spotlight breakthroughs in ophthalmology. Through a blend of public outreach and expert engagements leading up to and during the Congress, these efforts aim to enhance community understanding of eye health and encourage exchanges among professionals.
Expert Symposium on Eye Care cum Press Conference
As a key academic component of the Congress, this flagship program is designed to foster cross-sector collaboration among government, institutions, academia, health stakeholders, and the technology sector. By facilitating the sharing of insights and expertise, the symposium seeks to drive sustained innovations in medical technologies and contribute to the advancement of regional healthcare standards. A press conference will follow to brief the media on the latest developments in ophthalmic healthcare.
